Role: Medical Assistant
Location: Ft. Collins, Colorado 80524
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay: $21-25 per hour

Job Description:

Concentra is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at our Ft. Collins, Colorado location. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients and supporting our healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Interaction: Welcome patients and obtain medical histories, verify patient information, and ensure a comfortable and efficient experience.
  • Clinical Assistance: Assist providers during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary materials and equipment are available and ready for use.
  • Ancillary Testing: Perform various ancillary testing and tasks as ordered by the Center Medical Director, including PFT, EKG, injections, audiograms, blood draws, and more, as per certification.
  • Medication Dispensing: Dispense medications within the scope of practice as ordered by treating providers, adhering to state regulations and guidelines.
  • Administrative Support: Assist the front office team as needed, ensuring smooth operation and patient flow.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Proficiency in performing clinical tasks such as EKG, injections, and blood draws
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a clinical or healthcare setting
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
