Qualifications

• 1+ years of patient registration, scheduling, medical front office experience
• Good computer skills

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

As a New Patient Scheduler you will…

• Receive new patient referrals via electronic fax and by notes made by the Phone Operator in the system stating a patient called in looking to make an appointment
• Make outbound calls to new patients to schedule appointments
• Register patient in the system by obtain patient demographic and insurance information
• Once registered they will schedule the patient for an appointment (handle scheduling for medical oncology and hematology)
• Volume is typically 30+ new patients scheduled/day
• They will utilize Athena for scheduling IKnowMed G2 for EMR

Work Environment: This position is going to be ON SITE.
