Job description
You will be responsible for handling prior authorizations, insurance verification for 14-16 providers prescriptions and procedures. The volume is relatively high. Physician billing experience is required. Day to day is prior authorizations for medical services in clinic including prescriptions and procedures, calling insurance companies, verifying insurance and benefits and submitting required paperwork to insurance plan.
Must Have Skills/Qualifications: Physician billing experience (2-3 years), EMR experience and accounts receivable / insurance verification.
Nice to Have Skills: CPC cert, Athena and previous urology experience.
Schedule: M - F 8:30am - 6:00pm
Pay rate: $22-$25hr
