Job description

Position Overview:
Salary: $20.00 - $23.50 (Depending on previous experience)
Hours: For the first two weeks of training, you will be working 8:30am - 5:00pm. However, once training is completed you will be able to work 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, or 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM (EST)
  • Responsible for responding to all telephonic sales related consumer inquiries, identifying qualified prospects, providing rate quotes and enrolling eligible consumers telephonically.
  • Responsible for up-selling and/or cross-selling products, providing guidance on insurance coverage, selling policies, and conducting appropriate follow up calls.
  • Customer Interaction: Engage with customers via phone or other communication channels to provide information about the Health Plan, address inquiries, and resolve issues.
  • Sales and Enrollment: Assist potential customers with the selection and enrollment in various health plan options, aiming to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Support and Training: Offer ongoing support and training to customers and external agents, ensuring they are well-informed about the plans and services offered.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and improve service quality, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
Overview Continued:
  • Will be working with all of the clients Health Plans: Medicare, Medicaid, Individual, Family Plans
  • Need to be able to do well with metrics, KPIs, meeting targets - length of enrollment should only take 20-30 mins per client call - will be dealing with roughly 20 calls a day PER AGENT (Volume will vary day-to-day)
  • Flexible and adaptable with special projects given to them
  • ABSOLUTELY no background noise during calls - this is VERY important to the hiring managers
  • They need to be passionate about selling and enjoy working with other people - well rounded sales person
  • Need to be tech savvy - need to know Excel - product knowledge of insurance

Training Details:

  • Agents will receive network login information from Workday.
  • First two (2) weeks of training schedule for all agents is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5 PM, with 30-minute lunch.
  • The rest of the selling season schedule will be presented to and discussed with the agents. during their first two weeks of training, after which, the agents will move to each individual schedule.
  • After the first two weeks the training will continue with the new seasonal agents shadowing the core team/seasoned agents to learn more about processes and systems.

License Qualifications:

  • All Agents will have to have their Virginia State Health Insurance Licenses current.
  • Must obtain L-HIL or L-LIFEHI within 60 days of hire. (they will help you obtain this if you don't already have it)
