Overview
Job Title: Care Coordinator
Job Type: Full time
Compensation: $17-19 an hour
Hours: PST Day Shift - shift varies depending on availability (must be able to work PST hours)
Location: Remote (Excluding California)
Start Date: ASAP
Training: First 10 weeks; Monday-Friday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm Eastern Time / 7am to 4pm Pacific Time **Mandatory**

In this role, you will help individuals navigate their healthcare, playing a crucial part in our mission to raise the standard of healthcare for everyone, everywhere. Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for members, providing exceptional support and guidance.
Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers through both phone and written correspondence.
Manage and prioritize your workload independently while meeting quality targets and department metrics.
Utilize technology efficiently, including Google apps, Apple products, and CRM software.
Employ critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate complex situations.
Provide empathetic support to members and their families during challenging times.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor, even under pressure.

Minimum Qualifications:
2-5 years experience in a member health plan call center environment required
Must be able to explain EOB, HSA, Health Plan, out of pocket cost, and healthplan to members
Experience working in a high call volume environment
Experience working with members regarding their health plan
Assessments Required:
Computer Literacy (80% or better)
1 min. Typing Test (35 WPM or better)
Internet Speed Test
Required Skills
Exceptional business writing skills with accurate spelling and grammar.
Excellent verbal communication skills, with a clear, confident, and friendly phone demeanor.
Proficiency with technology; experience with Google apps, Apple products, and CRM software is a plus.
Ability to manage your workload independently while maintaining high standards and exceeding member expectations.
High level of empathy and the ability to provide reassurance and support to members and their families.
Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred not required
