Bilingual Insurance Verification Representative

MUST HAVES:

- 2 years RECENT insurance verification experience (healthcare only)

- Bilingual (Spanish/English)

- Knowledge of Commercial claims (BCBS)

- Nextgen EMR Experience

Schedule:

Split shift: 7am-7pm PST. Shift 1: 7am-4pm, Shift 2: 10am-7pm. 1 Saturday a month.

Pay: 19-22.50 based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Contacts insurance companies via PM applications, payer websites, or phone to accurately verify eligibility and benefits. Documents obtained data per policy and procedures.
• Provides superior customer support by responding to inquiries and requests, escalating issues as necessary.
• Educates patients on their benefit information; understands minimal CPT4 coding guidelines.
• Cross-trained to provide department coverage as needed.
• Assists in training team members effectively.
• Navigates multiple vendors, including payer websites, proficiently.
