Location: West Allis, WI
Duration: 8 Months - with a chance to extend through mid 2026 (18 months total duration)
Compensation: $28-$32 / hour

ABOUT OUR CLIENT / ABOUT THE ROLE
Medix is currently seeking a VoIP - Telecom Technician for an exciting contract opportunity with one of our healthcare clients in the Milwaukee area!

Our client is a large health system, going through a VoIP refresh, and implementing next-generation enterprise IP equipment. This Technician will be assisting in area cabling and unboxing / setting up new Alcatel 500 Enterprise DeskPhones through 2 main sites in Milwaukee

Please note that this role is onsite Monday - Friday in West Allis, WI

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working in a hospital setting
• Unboxing and deploying new VoIP phones
• Connecting phones to the network switches
• Running and connecting area cabling
• Testing /validating connections
• Running / managing clean and efficient cabling in the closets and data centers

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years professional experience in setting up VoIP Phones
• Ethernet Cabling
• Ability to lift up to 25+ lbs
