Surgical Technologist

Orthopedic Setting
Hollis, NH
Typical Pay Range: $30-$38/hr
Schedule: 4x10s 6/630a-4/430p Monday to Friday with one day off during the week

Requirements
At least one year experience in the OR as a surgical technologist.
Graduate from an accredited Certificate or Associate Degree program in Surgical Technology
NH Medical Technologist Registration required.
Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers

Overview
The Surgical Technologist provides an advanced level of surgical care to patients within the operating room under the supervision of perioperative nurses and surgeons. The Surgical Technologist utilizes AORN's Perioperative Standards and Recommended Practices and AST Standards of Practice as a reference to ensure quality, safety and appropriateness of patient care. The surgical technologist assists with maintaining a clean, safe surgical environment, and adheres to infection control policies & procedures.

Day to Day
Working within Orthopedic setting
Facility will typically have 3-7 procedures daily
Will attend between 2-4 procedures daily
