Job description

We're hiring a RN to work at an onsite occupational health clinic for a Fortune 500 company, supporting their employees.

📍 Location: Pittsboro, IN
⏰ Schedule: Monday - Friday with on-call required after hours for injury management
🗓️ Duration: Direct Hire/Permanent
💰 Salary Range: $87.6K - $105K
(Salary range is $73K-$75K, but a 20-40% bonus of quarterly salary is added each quarter)

Job Description:

  • Treatment of on-site injuries and referral to outside medical care when necessary
  • Case management for injured workers and facilitating their return to work
  • Medical surveillance for all employees, including annual audiograms, spirometry, vision screening, and lead testing
  • Conduct new hire pre-employment drug and alcohol screenings and coordinate medical examinations
  • Participation in ergonomics assessments and job hazard analyses
  • Administer Drug and Alcohol program according to company policy
  • Train employees in First Aid, CPR/AED, and as Medical Responders to support the care of injured workers
  • Provide training on Bloodborne Pathogens, Hearing Conservation, Violence in the Workplace, Ergonomics, and Heat Stress to ensure OSHA compliance
  • Advise on Workers' Compensation claims as needed
  • Administer FMLA and maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation
  • Accountable for delivery of regional health metrics and outcomes
  • Purchase supplies for the first aid clinic and manage site budget
  • Drive health outcomes by reducing health risks, managing workplace hazards, and promoting employee health and wellbeing
  • Collaborate with Safety Coordinators to identify and prevent injuries

Requirements:

  • Active Indiana RN license in good standing
  • 2 or more years of hospital or clinic nursing experience. Preferred experience within occupational health, primary care, urgent care, family, or emergency medicine.
  • Excellent assessment skills in a clinical setting
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills
  • Current/active CPR/AED certification
