Job description

A clinic in Edmonds, WA is looking for a Patient Relations Representative to join their team.


Overview of Responsibilities:
● Answer all incoming calls and route them to appropriate personnel; take messages
and send tasks as necessary for all care centers.
● Schedule, confirm, and cancel office appointments as patients call in.
● Work on referrals and import demographics from the patient portal.
● Pick up voicemail messages on a daily basis.
● Verify patients health plan benefits & obtain authorization, if needed.
● Assist patients with questions and/or concerns regarding procedures
● Request medical records from doctors and hospitals
● Call-in new prescriptions and refills and obtain authorization if necessary
● Obtain lab results including stat requests
● Other duties as assigned


Requirements:
● At least one year of experience in a medical office doing front desk duties
● High School Diploma/GED


Additional Skills:
● Hardworker
● Team Oriented


Schedule/Shift:
● Monday - Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm


Contract Length:
1040 contract to hire (opportunity to convert after satisfactory completion of assignment)


Pay:
$25 - $28 (Dependant on experience)
