Location: 100% Remote in the US (EST / CST hours)
Position Type: Contract (W2 or 1099)

ABOUT OUR CLIENT / ABOUT THE ROLE
Medix is currently seeking a hybrid Product Analyst / Tester for a long-term contracting opportunity with one of our best healthcare clients.

Our client provides Healthcare services to the US Military and Veteran populations. This Product Analyst/ Tester will be working as a member of a Feature Team and will be responsible for owning the business logic of the web application, and testing to ensure the code meets the functional goals of each feature.


Prior Healthcare / TPA Claims experience is required in order to understand the flow and logic. Strong Microsoft (C#, .Net CORE, SQL) experience is also required in order to conduct testing. The ability to create complex SQL queries and test business logic and data is an essential requirement for the role.

Because this role is working with the Department of Defense, US Citizenship is required.

ABOUT THE PRODUCT

  • The product is a Healthcare Application used by Veterans / US Military memebrs
  • It is a full-stack Microsoft-based web application built in Domain-Driven / Event-Driven Architecture (Microservices), with Angular on the front end.
  • It is containerized in Docker, and deployed to the Azure Government Cloud via AKS clusters (Still with me??)
  • The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of consistent experience working within this modern Microsoft application tech stack, with some exposure to CI/CD and cloud deployments

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working as a hybrid Product Analyst and Manual Tester on a Scrum Feature team, as part of large, scaled-scrum product organization (10+ teams participating)
  • Serving as the team's go-to person for understanding the features in the product backlog. This role needs to be comfortable deepening a subject matter expertise across the business domains and service areas.
  • Developing complex test cases, procedures and automated test scripts for feature implementation tasks
  • Running manual tests. Creating complex SQL queries in order to test the code against functionality of the system
  • Working within the modern Microsoft stack (C#, .net CORE/ 6-7 framework, Domain-Driven Architecture and Microservices, Dockerization, and CI/CD processes / deployments to the Azure Cloud.
  • Proactively anticipating customer needs, and testing potential solutions to verify if they would meet functional requirements.
  • Creating the software / technical documentation for the product

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a US Citizen (Federal Government end-customer)
  • Required Bachelor Degree
  • Required 5+ years of Professional Experience
  • Required 3-5+ years of experience in Microsoft Application Development - as a BA or Tester
  • Required 3 years of T-SQL Scripting experience (must have the ability to create complex queries)
  • Experience working within the Azure Cloud, with CI/CD processes
  • Exceptional communication abilities
