Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a fast-paced, supportive environment. As an RN in our clinic, you will be responsible for a variety of clinical duties, including patient care, assisting with surgeries and procedures, and supporting the team in achieving optimal outcomes. Your ability to be adaptable and open to learning new skills will be key to your success.

Responsibilities:

  • Rooming and Preparing Patients: Efficiently room patients, take vital signs, and ensure the exam room is ready for procedures.
  • Assist with Surgical Procedures: Support in Mohs surgeries and other related procedures by preparing surgical sites and handing instruments to the physician.
  • Patient Communication and In-Basket Management: Contact patients for follow-ups, appointments, and ensure timely communication for in-basket tasks like prescription refills.
  • Perform Standard RN Clinical Duties: Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide wound care while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Medication Preparation and Administration: Prepare and administer medications as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
  • Patient Education: Provide patients with clear instructions regarding procedures, treatments, and post-care.
  • Sterilization and Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper sterilization of instruments and maintain clinic equipment for safety and readiness.
  • Clinic Flow and Scheduling Support: Assist with patient scheduling, manage clinic flow, and help ensure smooth operations throughout the day.

Requirements:

  • Must have prior experience in Mohs surgery and surgical procedures
  • RN license required
  • Excellent patient care skills and the ability to follow directions and remain open to feedback
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude

Schedule/Shift:

  • Monday - Thursday, 6:45 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional later hours depending on cases

Pay:

$40-55 an hour (Depending on experience)
