Job description
We are hiring a PBX Operator!
Location: Laguna Hills, CA (92637)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Pay: $21.00 - $23 - depending on experience
Responsibilities:
- Answer a high volume of incoming phone calls (200 - 300 daily) and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Provide information and assistance to callers in a professional and courteous manner
- Take messages and relay them to the appropriate person and/or department
- Communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Dispense mail to correct departments
- Mail out billing forms
Skills/Qualifications:
- 2+ years of medical/healthcare experience
- PNX experience OR Call center experience in healthcare
- Proficiency in operating phone systems and handling multiple lines at a high volume
- Bilingual skills (preferred but not required)
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
