Job description

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: 21229

Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in the healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based care across the lifespan. The RN is accountable to patients, ensuring their safety, improving patient satisfaction, and promoting optimal health outcomes. The RN will track admissions and readmissions, manage costs, and address the needs of diverse and complex patient populations.

As an advocate, educator, and resource, the RN coordinates care for a patient panel, addressing logistical, financial, emotional, educational, and social barriers to care. The RN collaborates with providers and the care team to ensure treatment plan compliance, medication administration, and patient engagement. The RN also participates in performance improvement activities aimed at enhancing quality, safety, and efficiency in care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient education and care, including medication administration and performance of tests.
  • Coordinate and manage care for a patient panel, ensuring compliance with treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other nurses and healthcare team members to fulfill patient care needs, including cross-coverage as needed.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes and care efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, internal teams, and external contacts to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Active RN License.
  • Ideally, 1-2 years of experience in an outpatient setting preferred. Candidates with experience in inpatient acute care or case management will also be considered.

Schedule:

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. one late day 10-7pm

Compensation:

  • Pay Range: $40-47/hr
