Job description

Overview:

We are searching for multiple Operators with experince in Cather manufacturing. Currently both first and second shift is available.

Shift:

First:

  • M-Th: 5am-3:30pm

  • Potential OT F: 5am-1pm

Second:

  • M-Th: 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM

  • Potential OT F: 5am-1pm

Position Summary
Responsible for manufacturing and testing medical device assemblies (including sub-assemblies and accessories) in a cleanroom environment. This role involves utilizing various equipment, fixtures, gauges, and hand tools to assemble and test medical devices, maintaining logs and paperwork, managing workflow, and training personnel at all levels.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Manufacture, inspect, and package products according to written processes.
  • Work efficiently to meet established time standards while ensuring product quality.
  • Identify quality issues or workmanship deficiencies related to equipment, assembly, inspection processes, materials, sub-assemblies, and the manufacturing environment.
  • Maintain compliance with GMP requirements by:
    • Keeping individual training records up to date.
    • Entering production data accurately and on time.
    • Following documented manufacturing practices and procedures outlined in VSI Quality Systems Procedures.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Cross-train across multiple operations or lines following the VSI training program.

Education / Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is strongly preferred.
  • One year of relevant experience is preferred.

Specialized Skills & Other Requirements

  • Ability to read and understand policies, procedures, and processes written in English.
  • Good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, effective communication skills, and completion of Assembler QS Training are required.
  • Proven ability to meet quality and labor time targets.
