Job description

Medix is hiring experienced clinical nurses to take on a Nurse Navigator role for a well known health system in Washington, D.C! Interviews are taking place now, apply today!

Schedule: Day shift (8am to 4:30pm), Evening (11pm to 7am)

Pay: $45 - $50 per hour

Job Overview:

The Oncology Nurse Navigator plays a crucial role in guiding patients through the complex oncology care continuum. This role involves providing personalized support to patients from diagnosis through treatment and follow-up, ensuring a seamless and compassionate experience. In this role, the nurse will act as a liaison between patients, families, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team, addressing clinical and non-clinical needs to optimize patient outcomes.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in Nursing
  • 3 years of nursing experience - clinic experience is preferred
  • This is a contract to hire, but we're looking for loyal candidates that are seeking full time employment!

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Oncology experience
  • IV experience
  • Familiar with EMR systems
