Job Description
Responsibilities/ Job Duties:
- Phlebotomy
- Take vital signs, perform urine dips, POC testing, and provide injections/vaccinations.
- Assist with rooming patients
- Assist with surgical procedures
Requirements
Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements:
- Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required - please see below
- 1-3 years of experience in a medical office
To be considered a Certified Medical Assistant you must be:- Trained through an accredited program (typically 6 months)
- Provided with a Diploma
- Completed an externship
- Pass exam through a National Program
- Provided with a license that needs to be renewed every 2 years through the organization
