Job description

Job Summary:
Support general lab operations with responsibilities including:

  • Manufacturing Support: Labeling, boxing, kit assembly, product storage, filtration, and aseptic vial filling.
  • Inventory Management: Receiving, labeling, storing materials, maintaining inventory, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Cleaning biosafety cabinets, incubators, water baths, and performing facility maintenance (e.g., temperature checks, CO₂ tanks, cleanroom air pressure).
  • Documentation: Completing batch records, QA documentation, and ensuring compliance with quality system procedures.
  • Troubleshooting: Address minor equipment issues like labeling machines.
  • Other Duties: General lab housekeeping, organization, and ad hoc tasks as needed.

Reports to: Manufacturing Manager

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Assist with manufacturing, inventory, and facility maintenance.
  2. Monitor and clean lab equipment.
  3. Maintain lab cleanliness and organization.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma.
  • Experience: 6 months to 1 year in biotechnology manufacturing preferred.
