Procedural RN

The Procedural Nurse is responsible for an array of clinical duties. These duties range from direct patient care responsibilities (80%) to phone triaging (20%). Clinical duties will be focused around the day's patient schedule and working through the necessary procedures.

Overview

• Procedural nurse will have patients on schedule - handling all patients
• If no schedule, walk in nurse visits, helping on triage line if they can
• Was unsure of volume and procedures
• Might be a day with full load, may be a day with 3-4 patients
• Currently MAs are doing a lot of the walk ins and they are shifting that to RNs
• Triage Nurses on the phone making phone calls.

Schedule/Shift

• M-F 7:30-8a start time

Pay:

$36.46 - $44.86 an hour (Dependant on experience)

3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications

• Licensed RN w/ BSN
• BLS
• 1-2+ years experience in clinical or Procedural Nursing

Soft Skill/Attribute Requirements

• Ability to handle stressful and constantly changing conditions
• Team player that can work well without supervision
