Medical Front Desk - Concierge
Job description
Medix is hiring a Medical Front Desk - Concierge for a hospital in the Springfield, MO (65804) area!
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients upon arrival
- They have E-Check in and self arrival process for patients so they want someone who will greet these people
- They will still do same registration training and soft collections/setting patients up for payments if needed, so they need to be okay with that conversation.
- Help patients understand their insurance benefits and educate them on their financial responsibilities.
- They are able to discuss payment options and assistance, as necessary
- Responsible for ensuring that the most accurate patient data is obtained and populated into the patient record
Education and Experience:
- Highschool Diploma Required
- Customer Service Experience
- They will basically be the "face of this building" and the first person patients see and talk to. They need to have strong customer service and okay with standing majority of the day.
- Great tenure
- Willing to grow in healthcare field
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7a-5p
Setting: Hospital lobby
Pay Rate: Everyone starts out at $15/hr
