Job description
Title: Medical Biller
Location: Brentwood, TN 37027
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Overview:
A healthcare organization we are partnering with (rated a "top place to work in Nashville") is looking for a professional individual to join their team as a Medical Biller!
Responsibilities:
- Maintains billing and programs to provide effective electronic filing strategies.
- Manages failed claims, failed activities, and front-end rejections.
- Submit claims according to the billing schedule.
- Sees that client billing submission is efficient and organizes the billing schedule.
- Research and resolve billing problems and or issues for insurance payers and clients.
- Review medical records requests, gathers and submits appropriate records
- Develops and maintains a working relationship with all team-mates.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- EMR experience
- 1-2 years of Medical Billing experience
- Proficiency working with commercial and government health insurance
