Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and team-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play an essential role in ensuring that patients receive excellent care throughout their visit by providing direct support to physicians and nurses. You will assist with clinical and administrative duties, perform patient assessments, and help coordinate care to ensure smooth operations in our medical practice.

Job responsibilities:

  • Escorts patients to and from exam rooms, physician offices, and treatment room as appropriate.
  • Records patient data prior to each physician visit, including but not limited to, vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.
  • Prepares and stocks exam treatment rooms and orders supplies as needed. Assists physicians with exams and procedures as requested.
  • Schedules patient tests, procedures and hospital admissions and schedules appointments to followup on receipt of test results, as applicable.
  • Phones in prescriptions and makes other patient calls as directed by physicians.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • MA Diploma
  • BLS

Schedule/ Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
