Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will blend clinical expertise with administrative skills to support patient care and enhance operational efficiency within our hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care Support: Assist in the coordination of patient care activities, including managing appointments, processing referrals, and following up with patients as needed.
Documentation and Record Management: Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring all documentation is completed in compliance with hospital policies and regulations. Update electronic health records (EHR) and assist with data entry.
Communication: Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and medical staff. Communicate effectively to relay information and ensure continuity of care.
Administrative Duties: Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and assisting with budget tracking and inventory management.
Compliance and Quality Assurance: Assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care services.
Clinical Assistance: Provide basic clinical support, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with minor procedures when needed.
Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with best practices in nursing and administrative procedures.
