Job description

Position: Occupational Health Nurse

Location: Gainesville, GA.

About Us: We are a company committed to the well-being and safety of our employees. As part of our dedication to providing a healthy work environment, we are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assessing employees' health by taking temperatures, checking vitals, and monitoring their well-being.
  • Writing Nurse's notes and charting in the electronic system.
  • Providing first-aid to employees, including wound care and on-site injury management.
  • Conducting health screenings and utilizing medical knowledge to support employees.
  • Clearing team members based on questionnaire responses, vital signs, and temperature checks.
  • Administering medical examinations for employees returning from FMLA leave.
  • Conducting drug screens and physicals (training provided).
  • Performing occupational health assessments.
  • Administering treatments to injured or ill employees who visit the clinic.

Must-Haves:

  • 1+ years of experience in nursing.
  • LPN license.
  • BLS certification.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience in occupational health.
  • Knowledge of correctional nursing practices.

Schedule: M-F 11am-8pm with some Saturday's (overtime)
