Licensed Practical Nurse

3920 Capital Mall Dr. SW Olympia, WA 98502

An Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) and Neurology Department in Olympia is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join their team.

Overview of Responsibilities:

Neurology

  • Partner directly with the provider to support patient flow in the clinic
  • Primary responsibility includes administering Botox injections for chronic migraine treatment
  • Perform intradermal injections confidently and safely as a common clinic procedure
  • Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with experience and skill in injection techniques
  • Treated neurological conditions such as stroke follow-up care, epilepsy, neurodegenerative conditions, headache disorders, Parkinson's disease, and multiple sclerosis
  • Provided services including: Stroke care, botox injections for chronic migraine management , occipital and supraorbital nerve blocks, trigger point injections

Ear Nose and Throat (ENT)

  • Supported patient flow in the Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) department with two providers, including rooming patients, charting, and following up on messages
  • Assisted in ENT-specific procedures, providing hands-on support for a range of treatments and minor interventions
  • Worked in a high-contact specialty involving daily exposure to bodily fluids (saliva, blood, mucus, and skin conditions) with a focus on patient comfort and safety
  • Treat various ENT conditions, including: Adenoid problems, Allergies, Ear Infections, Hearing Loss, Neck Masses, Nose Bleeds, Skin Cancer, and more

Requirements:

  • Tenure in previous position
  • 2+ years of experience within an ambulatory space
  • Experiencing performing injections - ideally intradermal
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multitask
  • LPN Certification through the Washington State DOH

Additional Skills:

  • Previous experience in ENT or Neurology, EPIC Experience

Schedule/Shift:

  • Monday - Friday 7:45 AM - 5 PM

Contract Length:

700 Hours. Opportunity to convert to permanent hire after satisfactory completion of contract.

Pay:

$26 - $40/hour (Dependant on experience)
