Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Support laboratory activities for both GMP and non-GMP testing of combination products and medical devices.
  • Assist in managing quality system events, including deviations, CAPAs, and change controls.
  • Handle materials management tasks such as receiving, labeling, storing raw materials and components, and ensuring documentation and compliance with inventory control procedures.
  • Conduct inspections of incoming materials to confirm quality, specifications, and compliance with approved documentation.
  • Perform tests per established protocols to support method validation and design verification.
  • Analyze data and perform basic troubleshooting as needed.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and manage laboratory records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures.
  • Work collaboratively within a matrixed team environment, supporting organization and attention to detail.
  • Provide immediate project support as required.
  • Author and review complex technical documentation to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Follow policies and standard operating procedures to support internal and client projects.
  • Complete all assigned internal and external training requirements.
  • Assist in planning and executing lab-related services and activities.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering field, such as Chemistry, Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry, including post-graduate experience.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, combination product, and/or medical device sectors.
  • Preferred experience with pre-filled syringes, autoinjectors, co-packaged kits, other drug delivery platforms, and/or other combination product platforms.
