Job Title: Follow-Up Representative
Location: Cherry Hill, New Jersey
Pay: Starting at $20/hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Follow-Up Representative to join our team in Cherry Hill. In this role, you will resolve billing discrepancies, handle insurance denials, and follow up with payers to ensure timely reimbursement. You'll analyze EOBs/ERAs, correct and resubmit claims, and track trends in payer policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolve billing discrepancies and insurance denials/rejections.
  • Analyze EOBs/ERAs and take appropriate actions per company guidelines.
  • Follow up with insurance companies via phone or portals on outstanding claims.
  • Identify trends, research payer policies, and report findings to management.
  • Correct and resubmit claims as necessary.
  • Document actions and update account records.
  • Monitor accounts receivable work queues and follow up as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in medical billing or insurance follow-up preferred.
  • Strong understanding of EOBs/ERAs and insurance denial processes.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in billing software, payer portals, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
