Job Title: Environmental Services

Location: Wilmington, DE 19805 (onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a full range of light and heavy cleaning duties throughout the facility, including wards, patient rooms, offices, storerooms, corridors, restrooms, and shower rooms.

• Sweep, mop, scrub floors (using machines), vacuum carpets and upholstered furniture, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.

• Address spills and other hazards promptly to ensure patient and staff safety.

• Empty waste baskets, replace trash liners, and discard trash regularly.

• Clean and sanitize light fixtures, Venetian blinds, windows, walls, and ceilings, which may involve climbing small ladders.

• Refill toilet tissue and towel dispensers to ensure these amenities are always available.

• Install light bulbs in halls and rooms as needed.

• Move furniture as required for thorough cleaning and room arrangement.

• Carry out assignments independently with minimal supervision, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.

Qualifications:

• Ability to perform the full range of housekeeping tasks, including both light and heavy cleaning duties.

• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Physical capability to handle the demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and climbing.

• Prior experience in housekeeping or environmental services is preferred but not required.

Hours: Full time- Mon-Fri 7am-3:30

Location: Wilmington, DE 19805

Start Date: ASAP

Benefits: In order to be eligible for health benefits, you must be employed for 30 days and must average 30 hours per week over your first four weeks on assignment. If you become eligible and take action to enroll, you will be covered no earlier than 60 days into your assignment, depending on plan selection(s).
