Job description

Looking for an Electrical Panel Technician with prior experience assembling control panels. There are two openings. An Electrical Technician and an Electrical Technician Lead. You will need to have prior industry experience and some experience with 3 phase AC wiring up to 600V, AC single phase wiring, DC low voltage analog & digital wiring and network wiring. Someone with HMI or PLC experience is a plus.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7 am to 5:30 pm

Job Descripton:

  • Assemble and test industrial control panels using schematic wiring diagrams, load software programs, and test PLCs and HMIs.
  • Work with 3-phase AC wiring up to 600V, single-phase AC wiring, low-voltage DC analog/digital wiring, and network wiring.
  • Design and manufacture wiring harnesses for standard control panels.
  • Create unit-level wiring kits to streamline production and enhance efficiency.
  • Interpret and understand schematic wiring diagrams, equipment drawings, and specifications for installation, service, and electrical system checks.
  • Install wiring and conduits (rigid and flexible) with precision and attention to detail.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in equipment and control panels.
  • Maintain organization in electrical parts storage areas and ensure workspaces remain neat and orderly.
  • Perform control panel assembly primarily in the electrical department, with unit-level equipment wiring completed in both the manufacturing areas and occasionally offsite.
