Job description

Title: Dispensing/Pharmacy Technician

Shift: M-F Day Shift, No Weekends

Pay: $17-18.50/hour

Location: Monroeville, PA

Overview:

Join our team, a leading urologic clinic dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to support our in-office dispensary. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced team to ensure seamless medication management for our patients.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

- Assist with managing the in-office dispensary.
- Identify patients in need of medications and verify their benefits.
- Process prescriptions and follow up with insurance payers for reimbursement/payment.
- Maintain accurate records of medication inventory and patient information.

Candidate Background:

- While prior experience as a Pharm Tech is preferred, candidates with exposure to pharmacy operations will also be considered.
- Ideal candidates will have a commitment to excellent patient care and attention to detail.
