Job description
Medix is looking to hire a Spanish bilingual Dental Assistant to join a well-established, non-profit community clinic in Downtown Los Angeles 90015 and Sherman Oaks 91405 locations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting the dentist(s) and the dental hygienist(s) in the direct provision of primary care dental services to patients at the clinic
- The sterilization, preparation and inventory control of dental instruments, supplies, and for proper infection control of all areas involving dental care
- Carrying out the extra-oral duties or procedures specified by the supervising licensed dentist
- Operating dental radiography equipment for oral radiography
- Performing intraoral and extra-oral photography.
Requirements / Experience
- DA Diploma
- New Grads are encouraged to apply
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Proof of COVID vaccination
Schedule:
- Monday- Friday 7:30- 4:00 pm, alternating Saturdays
