ABOUT THIS ROLE / ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is a national retail healthcare organization. This role will be immersed in the Customer Marketing and Communications team, helping to drive strategic and meaningful insights into the effectiveness of outbound campaigns. This team has a lengthy backlog of data and reporting requests - and this individual will be helping to help analyze and prioritize the backlog of requests, build the data sets and reports, and finally provide the analysis and recommendations to Manger/Director leaders.

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partnering closely with business stakeholders to work through and prioritize a lengthy backlog of data analytics / reporting requests.
  • Helping identify and establish the metrics and KPIs that need to be tracked
  • Partnering with a separate (heavy duty) Data Engineering team to query their single source of truth Data Lake (GCP) using advanced SQL to isolate the appropriate data.
  • This role will be responsible for extracting the data, conducting the analysis, and building dashboards for the business team in Microsoft Power BI
  • Additionally, this role will go the extra mile to provide analysis and insights on the marketing campaigns - which outreach approaches are most effective, which are not, why, etc.
  • This role will be conducting thorough analysis and A/B testing -- looking at a large amount of outbound SMS data to track various metrics and KPIs towards campaign effectiveness, and reporting on it

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE

  • Senior-level Analytics experience / 7-10 years of professional experience
  • Prior retail / consumer marketing industry experience will be given priority
  • Advanced SQL query skills
  • Prior experience working with a cloud data lake (GCP preferred)
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerBI Dashboard creation
  • Strong Analysis skills
  • Exceptional communication / soft skills
  • Able to work independently
