Job Posting: CT Technologist/ X-Rat Technologist

Location: Pomona, CA

Work Schedule: 4 days- 10hr shifts OR 5 days 8 hr shifts M-F, no weekends/ no holidays

Compensation: Competitive pay ranging from $30-55/h

Open to Radiologic Technologist (x-ray) who would like to be trained into CT! Pay rate will differ with certification differentiation

Key Responsibilities:

As a Radiologic Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Converses with doctors, nurses, patients and family members as required
  • Follows physicians' orders precisely and conforms to safety regulations to protect themselves, their patients, and coworkers
  • Explains and prepares patients for CT procedures that will be performed, explaining the procedure, positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately scanned and providing patient support by talking to patients throughout procedure
  • Performs routine and advanced CT procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury with minimal amount of supervision or repeats
  • Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to examination

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Radiology
  • Valid ARRT certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with electronic medical record systems or strong database management skills
