Position: Charge Review Medical Coder
Location: Fully Remote - Candidates can sit in NY, NJ, CT
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm / 9:00am - 5:00pm


Overview: In this role, the Charge Review Coder will be responsible for meticulously reviewing outpatient medical records and accurately assigning appropriate codes to procedures and services. This role demands a keen understanding of coding systems like CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10, coupled with a commitment to compliance with coding guidelines and regulations. Collaborating closely with healthcare professionals, the Charge Review Coder ensures that documentation is clear and coding queries are resolved. Upholding high standards of accuracy, this role contributes to quality assurance efforts, staying abreast of coding updates and maintaining data integrity. Certification in medical coding and a sharp eye for detail are key qualifications for success in this role.

Requirements:

• Active coding certification
• 1+ years of outpatient coding experience
