Job description

Hiring for an experience X-Ray/Radiology Technician in the Tomball, Texas area to join a fast-paced and growing Orthopedic practice!

Summary

Daily Duties include Diagnostic x-ray procedures (both basic & specialty, C-Arm, and fluoroscopy) maintaining patient medical records, maintaining and calibrating x-ray equipment and patient education.

Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, applying x-ray energy, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.

Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs, rotates through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology to include OR, Urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements, and trauma; assists practitioner with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures and trauma.

Schedule: Mon-Thurs (8am-5:30pm), Friday (8am-12:30pm)

Education

  • Required: Graduate of accredited Imaging Program
  • Preferred: Associate degree

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: 1-3 years of experience
  • Required: ARRT or registry eligible; must have ARRT within one year post graduation
  • BLS
  • TMB State License
