Role: Surg Tech
Projected State Date: ASAP
Day to day:
- Settiing up for procedures
- surgeries that can be more serious
- 10 minute injections
- Sterilization of the room and tools
- 15-20 patients a day depending on day
- Monday, Thursday, Friday are busier surgery days Tues wednesday are a little slower on purpose
- sutures will be necessary
- Very busy days Monday, Thursday, Friday where they might be back to back for most of the day but Tues, wed are slower
Experience: Reliable, surg tech experience - 1 year plus
3-5 Must Haves:
- Reliable
- 2+years in prior roles
- 1+ year surg tech experience
- Certified from an accredited school, CST OR CFSA
- BLS
Nice to Have:
- Suture experience
- Experience in the pain MGMT field
Soft Skills:
- Reliable
- Comfortable being back to back / thrives in a busy work setting
Metrics: 15-25 surgeries a day
Schedule/Hours/Shift:
- 7:30-5:30 -- dependent on number of surgeries
- Tuesdays, Wednesdays they may get out early
- 40 hours a week
