Remote Medical Biller

Overview
In order to qualify, you MUST live in the state of Arizona. As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will play a critical role in addressing and resolving issues related to claims duplication arising from our NextGen system. Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing, voiding, following up on, and processing claims. This position reports directly to the Manager of Transactional Claims.

Responsibilities
* Thoroughly review and process medical claims to address NextGen's claims duplication issue.
* Void incorrect claims and follow up diligently to ensure timely and accurate processing.
* Collaborate with the billing team and other departments as necessary.
* Maintain a high level of professionalism and compassion while handling sensitive billing issues.

Requirements
* 1-2 years of experience in Medical Billing and Accounts Receivable, with a strong focus on NextGen systems.
* Proven ability to work effectively in a remote environment, including being equipped for impromptu video conferencing.
* Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative.
* Preferred experience working in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) or Behavioral Health settings.

Schedule
* Monday to Friday
* Two shift options: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm or 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Pay
* $19 to $21 an hour
