Supervisor, Pre-Certification

We are seeking a Pre-Certification Supervisor to join a reputable healthcare consulting organization lcoated in downtown Chicago!

Daily Responsibilities:

• Responsible for being the support to the registration or authorization staff on a day to day basis.
• Train new staff members, teach them epic, the work queues for registration and authorizations, and being the first point of contact to the staff.
• Support manager when they are out of the office in addition to the supervisor role.
• Assign work queues in EPIC.
• Conduct performance management and conflict with the representatives.

Pre-Certificaiton Supervisor Schedule: M-F, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM;

Hybrid (1 week onsite/at home rotation) ***equipment provided!

Pre-Certification Supervisor Pay & Benefits:

• $25-28/hr based on experience

Pre-Certificaiton Supervisor Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in Pre-Certification
• 2 years of supervisory experience in patient access
• Great knowledge of insurances (commercial, governmental)
• Can work around an EMR system well, tech savvy - does not have to be EPIC, but has to be well versed in an EMR system

Preferred Qualificaiton Requirements:

• Supervisory experience in hospital or clinic patient registration
• Previous Epic Experience
