Job description
Medix is hiring a sterile processing tech for a surgery center in Orlando.
3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications
- One-year experience as a Sterile Processing Technician in a Healthcare setting
- Ambulatory Surgery center experience preferred, but not required
- Certified-CRSCT
- REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
- Decontamination
- Assembly
- Sterilization
Nice to Have Skills
- Working in an ambulatory surgery center
- EPIC experience
Soft Skill/Attribute Requirements
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to change.
- Ability to work under stress and deadlines.
- Medical terminology
- Basic knowledge of computers
- Ability to communicate by reading, writing legibly, speaking and comprehending English effectively
in order to carry out job requirements. - Ability to understand the needs of the customer and respond to them in a pro-active, courteous,
professional, and efficient manner.
Schedule/Shift
M-F 9-5 or 10-6
Needs to be flexible with their schedule
