We are hiring for a Shipping Associate to join a Medical Device Company in the Southside Area of Pittsburgh!
Job Title: Shipping and Logistics Associate
Location: Southside Flats, Pittsburgh, PA
Hours: M-F Day Shift 8:30 - 5 PM (flexbile there)
Job Summary:
The Shipping and Logistics Associate is responsible for preparing products for shipping, maintaining shipping documents, and ensuring accurate and timely shipment of products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review open orders and pick, pack, and ship products and accessories to customers.
- Confirm accuracy of packed products.
- Prepare packages for shipment according to carrier instructions for UPS or FedEx based on packing slip.
- Assist receiving and warehouse personnel as needed.
- Maintain stock of product and shipping supplies.
- Ensure timely shipment of packages and communicate any shipping issues or clarifications to supervisor and internal customers.
- Maintain 5S and lean standards to streamline and improve processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and teaming skills.
