Job Title: Food Service Associate

Location: Wilmington, DE 19805 (onsite)

We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Associate to join our team, primarily focused on providing essential nutrition and support to our respected Veterans. As a Food Service Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including serving food and beverages, preparing simple yet nutritious meals and trays, delivering trays to Veterans, recording and retrieving dietary information, and maintaining cleanliness by washing dishes.

• High school diploma or GED

• A passion for working with our Nation's Heroes

• Former military experience is a plus!

Responsibilities:

• Serve food and beverages to Veterans with care and respect, ensuring their dietary needs and preferences are met.

• Prepare simple yet nutritious meals and trays following established guidelines and standards.

• Deliver trays to Veterans in a timely and courteous manner, providing assistance as needed.

• Record and retrieve dietary information for Veterans, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by washing dishes and sanitizing food service areas.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and smooth operation of the food service department.

Compensation: $15-18 depending on experience

Hours: Day shift

Location: Wilmington, DE 19805 (onsite)

Start Date: ASAP

Benefits: In order to be eligible for health benefits, you must be employed for 30 days and must average 30 hours per week over your first four weeks on assignment. If you become eligible and take action to enroll, you will be covered no earlier than 60 days into your assignment, depending on plan selection(s).
