Job description

We're seeking a dedicated Occupational Health Registered Nurse to join our team and provide high-quality care in a workplace setting. This role focuses on emergency care, first aid, and the treatment of occupational injuries and illnesses within established standing orders.

Location: Grand Rapids, MI (onsite, working an occupational health clinic)


Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2pm - 10pm (2nd Shift)


Pay Range: $44 - 48/hr

Role Overview:

  • Provide professional nursing care to sick and injured employees.
  • Perform and evaluate clinical and diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Assist the plant physician with minor surgical procedures.
  • Conduct and document employee medical history interviews.
  • Collaborate with the Health Services team and other departments to support workplace health initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant medical records.
  • Perform and document physical examinations.
  • Adhere to established health and safety protocols.
  • Manage medical equipment and supplies.
  • Support workplace wellness programs.
  • Deliver professional, knowledgeable customer service to employees.
  • Promote a healthy and safe work environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Valid state nursing license in good standing
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
  • Healthcare Provider CPR/AED certification
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and basic computer software
  • While occupational health, urgent care, ER, family, or primary nursing experience is preferred, will consider candidates with an acute care background outside of these areas.
