Revenue Recovery Specialist

Job Overview:

As a Revenue Recovery Specialist, you will be exposed to the complex reimbursement methodology between hospitals and insurance companies. Recovery specialists work closely with assigned project teams on the specialized retrospective recovery process. You will be exposed to various payers, clients, and systems. This position will investigate claims, follow up with payers, collect the insurance accounts receivable, escalate stalled claims and other related activities that enhance revenue collection for our clients.

Must Have Skills/Qualifications:

• Revenue cycle experience with transactions - retrospectively utilizing EMR as research tool, eligibility, reliability buckets - higher level insurance follow-up outside of calling payers
• Look at claims coverage information and transaction history
• Financial info within EMR system
• 3+ years of experience in RCM space - specifically back end RC
• Strong computer and technical skills; excel, EMR experience, etc.
• WFH/remote set up and work experience

Shift:

• Remote
• Monday - Friday 6:30AM - 8:30 AM flexible local start time (8 hour shift)

Pay rate:

• $17.45 - $25.00
