Job description
We are hiring for CLINIC Registered Nurses and LPNs for a sub-specialty ophthalmology medical practice!
Overview: Treating diseases and surgeries of the retina, vitreous, and macula and are dedicated to serving the needs of our patients!
Schedule: M-F - no weekends! 7am-5pm (clinics start and end between those times- some days could be 7-3p, 7-4p, 7:30-5p, 7:30-4p, 8-5p) it just depends on the clinic!
Location: 66204 hSawnee Mission Kansas+ other floating clinics
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required. KS & MO licenses.
- 1+ years' nursing experience preferably in a hospital or specialty clinic setting.
Pay:
- LPN= $25-28/hr
- RN = $30-32/hr
Responsibilities
- Perform compliant and complete patient work up in a timely manner (rooming patients, vitals, etc.)
- Evaluate and complete assessment of patient needs to provide supportive care before, during, and after surgery and maintain accurate and complete patient records.
- Communicate with physicians, referring physicians, and other medical professionals.
- Good understanding of retina practice (training provided) and patient care.
- Create and contribute to patient's medical records.
- Collaborate with clinical team in patient testing and treatment.
- Administration of medication, including IV procedures under direction of the physician.
