Job description

Responsibilities:

Day to Day:

  • Processing specialty referrals
  • Get referrals from clinicians
  • Get referral then go to insurance database, high quality provider and facility, one in network- some research
  • Then pull records, call location, make sure they treat what they're looking for
  • Communication between patient and coordinator,
  • Follow up w/ location- reach out in a few days to see if appt has been made
  • They do not schedule the appointment, but give the member the info to reach out to the facility
  • Majority is speciality
