Radiologic Technologist

Medix is hiring for Rad Techs in the Leawood, KS area!! **Openings for full-time, part-time and PRN.

Required Experience

• Graduate of an approved school of radiologic technology program
• Registered ARRT
• Kansas LRT license

Pay Rates range: $27/hr - $35/hr (depending on experience)

Overview:

• Techs do Pain Management, Radiology & C-ARM Imaging
• Our Radiology department supports the hospital, practices, and urgent care.
• Our technicians provide quality diagnostic x-rays in the clinic, surgery and urgent care departments as directed by the physicians.

Responsibilities:

• Take x-rays according to established protocols and physician orders
• Position patients and equipment to obtain high-quality images
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment
• Review images and make necessary adjustments for quality and accuracy
• Maintain patient records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment

Available shifts: 8- & 10-hour shifts

• 12s - weekend 10a-4p Sat/Sun and 12 hours shift Thurs/Friday
• 10s Sat/Sun through wednesday/Thursday

Part Time - Radiologic Technologist Assistant

• Monday-Thursday; 8:30am-3:30pm

• Support the X-Ray Techs with patients
• Day to day
  • Tech Assistants escort and assist patients in wheelchairs and other assisted devices crutches.
  • Requires prepping and setting up exam rooms, cleaning, and stocking exam rooms, answering department phone calls and entering patient records into the computer.
  • This is a very busy and physical position and requires a lot of walking.
