Radiation Therapist

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Radiation Therapist to join our team. This is an ONSITE position and applicants must reside in nearby area.

Specific Duties:

Provide individualized radiation therapy treatments to patients in consultation with the oncology
team.
o Ensure effective and safe delivery of radiation therapy to help combat cancer and improve patients'
wellbeing.
o Monitor the progress of patients and suggest amendments to treatment plans when necessary.
o Assess patients' reactions to treatments and provide advice and methods of alleviating the side
effects of treatments.
o Document in patients record treatment details, equipment settings, patients' reactions, and any
other observations during the patients' treatment.

Must-Have Qualifications/:

Associate degree in radiation therapy required.
o Bachelor's Degree in radiation therapy strongly preferred.
o American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification required.
o Current California radiation therapist license.
o Current CPR certification for healthcare workers.
o Previous experience as a radiation therapist.

Work Schedule:

Shift Start/End Time: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Work Location:

ONSITE position; candidates must reside in San Diego area.

o Meticulous attention to detail.
o Ability to multi-task when necessary.
o Ability to think critically and assess problems and make necessary changes.
o Excellent customer service skills including the ability to communicate effectively with physicians,
staff, and patients.
o Electronic Medical Records and Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
