Job description

Medix is currently hiring for a Quality Inspector to join a medical manufacturing team that we partner with in Glendora! If you have previous experience as a Quality Inspctor working in regulated manufacturing industries such as pharmaceutical, medical device or aerospace, consider applying today!

Position Summary:

The Quality Inspector works directly under the Quality Manager on various quality-related tasks. They support the strategy of compliance with quality objectives and document issues with products.

What You'll Do:

  • Supports the overall strategy for compliance with quality objectives.
  • Conducts mechanical, visual and certification verification of material features as required by the Quality department to ensure compliance.
  • Document non-conformances and submit non-conformance related to internal and external issues, ensuring proper disposition is carried out.

What You'll Bring:

  • Understanding of ISO 9001 Quality system is required.
  • 2-4+ years of recent QA / quality inspector experience in pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing settings.
  • Competent in utilizing MS Word and Excel.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Works well independently and in a team setting.
  • Must possess good documentation skills to maintain neat and accurate records.
  • Able to work in a manufacturing and/or clean room environment.
