Job description

Hiring a Pre and Post-Operative Registered Nurse in Lancaster, PA!

Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse with a passion for providing exceptional patient care? We are seeking a skilled Pre and Post-Operative RN to join our dynamic team! Here, you'll play a vital role in the Patient and Family Centered Care Model, where your expertise will directly impact the lives of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Admit and discharge patients with care and compassion.
  • Conduct ongoing patient assessments and maintain accurate documentation in our electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Collaborate to develop comprehensive patient care plans, including identifying problems, setting goals, and evaluating interventions.
  • Monitor and report significant changes in patient conditions to the appropriate team members.
  • Lead discharge planning discussions to ensure readiness and smooth transitions for patients.
  • Adhere to age-specific standards, policies, and guidelines to deliver safe, effective care across all patient demographics.
  • Engage in performance improvement initiatives to uphold our commitment to quality care.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Current RN license
  • Minimum of 6 months of clinical experience, with a preference for PACU or step-down/ICU experience
  • Strong clinical skills, capable of managing 20+ patients daily
  • Experience in OR/Ortho settings is a plus
  • 2+ years of nursing experience
