Job description

Looking to hire an individual who has their certification in Phlebotomy. You can either be a Phlebotomy Tech, Medical Assistant, or have your certification in Phlebotomy. You will be doing about 3 or so blood draws a day. The other tasks will be documentation, donor screening, admin duties, etc. This is a 1st shift position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow SOPs and IRB Protocols; complete required training.
  • Create a welcoming environment to boost donor retention; assist with recruitment activities.
  • Conduct donor screening and pre-donation qualification.
  • Maintain confidentiality with all personnel, donor, and site records.
  • Prepare donors for procedures, perform phlebotomy, and handle donor disconnection post-procedure.
  • Calibrate and maintain equipment and facilities.
  • Process, label, and prepare units and samples for shipping.
  • Manage supply levels and submit purchase requests as needed.
  • Support interdepartmental communication for error reduction.
  • Participate on the on-call team for temperature events.

Schedule:

M-F 7 am to 3:30 pm

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent;
  • 1+ year phlebotomy experience or relevant certification/education.
  • Phlebotomy certification
  • Can have experience as a Medcial Assistant or other position
